I’m watching Flipside right now which I probably wouldn’t have heard about if you hadn’t mentioned it. It’s a film after my own heart, as they say and my job these days when i have no work is to figure out how to make my version of this film. Coming to you from just a little north on keele just behind the fire station
I second your thought, Carl, that the Netflix Daredevil is the best on-screen Marvel. (We don't have Disney at the moment, so I haven't yet watched the new one, Born Again--named, I've assumed, for Frank Miller's 1986 run, but as the original Netflix series had already pulled some of that narrative, I dunno.)
The Flipside doc is available on Kanopy; free from your library! I agree with you, it’s a Great film that I stumbled across. Every campus radio nerd will enjoy it.
You’re making me want to make a film or a book or a record or all three but i don’t know exactly what it’s about yet

It means it inspires me but i can’t quite say how
I'm going to dare to take that as a positive sign.
Wrote that about DD before I saw your nice shout out about my Chappel Roan piece for No Fences Review. Very kind. Thank you for sharing!

hey David - Yeah, I think they're drawing on some more of the Miller narrative, but revised in less interesting (and some upsetting) ways.

Thanks for pitching in with the Kanopy info, Tom!
Thanks, Carl!
